We celebrate American Independence Day on the Fourth of July every year. We think of July 4, 1776, as a day that represents the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation.
On the 4th of July, we must remember that the USA's fight for freedom from British rule did not end with the declaration of Independence, it intensified. For “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same". --Ronald Reagan
